The Long Beach Hospitality Alliance is a non-profit business organization that was founded in 2015 in order to better support the growth and success of the local hotel industry in our city. Our alliance serves as a liaison to the greater Long Beach community which includes, but is not limited to: all areas of city, state, and federal government, local media, special constituency groups, and related tourism entities and organizations. LBHA represents an industry that collectively employees 14,000 individuals and contributes more than $20 million in revenue for the city of Long Beach -- cementing our industry as an indisputable driving force in the city's economy.

The Hospitality Alliance also hosts signature events such as the Annual Hospitality Awards, which honors outstanding hotel employees and the Annual Charity Golf Tournament, which supports Long Beach student scholarships.

The Hospitality Alliance builds positive and elective relationships with local government and organizations to create an economically healthy and vibrant business community. We continually seek to grow our alliance so that is inclusive of the rapidly growing hospitality industry in Long Beach. Our goal is to build awareness around our coalition so that our members are better represented at the city level.

The Hospitality Alliance believes in increasing awareness about the tourism industry. The Hospitality Alliance engages with hospitality programs in local high schools, colleges, and universities to support and encourage interest the hospitality industry.

The Hospitality Alliance collaborates with various city departments, such as the Office of Economic and Development and the Downtown Long Beach Associates, to increase The Hospitality Alliance presence in local government and ensure its members have the most current information affecting their businesses.

The Hospitality Alliance also works with the various Non-Profit Organizations who are an integral part of the community and sponsors several Long Beach community events each year.
