County of Los Angeles Temporary Shelter Options for Self-Isolation in Designated Hotels


Los Angeles County has set up temporary quarantine and isolation housing to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This temporary housing, using hotels and motels throughout the County, is for individuals who have been exposed to COVID-19 and must isolate and need assistance from the County to do so.

Persons needing medical sheltering should contact the County Department of Public Health. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 and are need of a place to Isolate and Quarantine, please call toll Free 1-833-540-0473 Operators are standing by to assist you Monday-Sunday, 8AM-8:30 PM

Los Angeles County “Safer at Home” Public Health Order

Los Angeles County residents will be required to stay-at-home under the “Safer-At-Home” Order issued by Los Angeles County, effective March 19 at midnight through May 15, 2020. This continues to enforce the closure of all non-essential businesses and requires essential businesses to implement a Social Distancing Protocol, including providing employees with cloth face coverings, no later than 11:59pm on April 15.
